This series reflects on the arrival of Covid-19 in our lives and national lockdowns that have occurred as a result. Made during the UK's first period of lockdown, the energy and gestures are barely contained within each composition and appear to swing inward or dive off the edges of the paper, reminiscent of the trapped feeling within the home and the need to find colour and energy through the monotony.

The concept of @artistsupportpledge is simple and was initiated by @matthewburrowsstudio. Artists post images of their works for sale for no more than £200. Every time an artist makes £1,000 in sales, they commit to buying the work of another artist taking part in the pledge for £200.
